Adventure Racing Clinic

Curious about Adventure Racing? This clinic will get you ready to try your first race!

We will have both indoor and outdoor sessions scheduled to help you learn and improve your skills.
Topics tentatively include: 
- Navigation / map reading / orienteering
- AR gear
- understanding various race formats / strategies
- pace counting exercise
- nutrition

You can also learn about other races and groups in our region. We tentatively have representatives coming from the Indy Quest AR, 361 Adventures, No Sleep, and Flying Squirrel Adventures.

Fee is $50, which includes lunch, maps, and other goodies. Park gate entry fee will also be charged. Thanks to Fort Harrison State Park, donating the room space to keep our costs low! 
Limited to 40 participants due to space restrictions.

Group may adjourn to a local eatery for evening social time.

-Optional: mountain bike / helmet, map plotting tool, backpack, 


For experienced racers, you may pick up some tips, meet other racers and race directors. And, we would love to have you share some of your wisdom with new racers!
