NEW TO RACING? Try our INTRO category FREE at your first race! It’s low-key fun that helps you decide if racing is your thing. Intro riders are not eligible for series points, because they must move on to Cat3 after finishing top three in an Intro race. This keeps the category perfect for those new to racing. Just mail in an entry or register at the race site to claim your first race for free.

DINO FOLLOWS USA CYCLING MOUNTAIN BIKE RULES: Available online. All riders must present a USA Cycling Mountain) license or purchase a one-day permit ($5/event). USA Cycling domestic license is $60 (Juniors $30). All Category 1 and Pro riders must have an annual license.

To purchase an annual license, click here. You may also purchase a license at race site registration.

USA Cycling has changed the category system for 2009. Former Category of Beginner will now be "3", Sport = "2", Expert ="1", Pro = "Pro". Past semi-pro riders must decide between Cat 1 and Pro licensing. For some key points of this change, click here.
