2008 PRIMERICA DINO MOUNTAIN BIKE SERIES

Portage, IN – Imagination Glen Park

After a year away, DINO returns to Imagination Glen Park in Portage. This is DINO's closest stop to Chicago. The trail system is popular and well maintained by the Outback Trail Comission. It contains a variety of features in a moderately challenging course.

Camping: Not available onsite. Indiana Dunes State Park is nearby.

Directions: Exit I-94 at exit 19 and go south to the stop light at US 20,. Turn left (east) on US 20 (Melton Road) for 1 mile. Turn right (South) on Samuelson Road for one mile to Portage Avenue (stop sign). Take a left (east) on Portage Ave. This will aim you straight at the park, but you'll need to make a short jog right and then left to the park entrance. The race will be staged toward the rear of the park. View Map
