2012 KENDA DINO MOUNTAIN BIKE SERIES Race 5 - Sunday, July 22, 2012 Registration: Print | Online Single Race Versailles is becoming one of the premiere venues on the series. It is a challenging and scenic race course, and a great place to spend a weekend. Versailles State Park is one of Indiana's best trails, purpose-built for mountain bike riders by mountain bike riders. Highlights of the trail are several long yet gradual climbs, fantastic downhills, great views, and fun trail flow. Lap length is around 10 miles. (Course Map.) Pre-riding is available Friday evening or Saturday after 1 pm. Preceding the race is Saturday's XTERRA DINO Triathlon Versailles. This race challenges athletes to a swim-bike-run triathlon held on off-road courses. The park offers several activities making it a good choice for a weekend The park will also host the 24 Hours of DINO, a solo or relay event with 6, 12, and
24 hour divisions. The 24 Hours of DINO course uses a bit longer course Start Times - NOTE delayed start for Cat3 Women, Intro, and 10&Under CAMPING: Camping is available at Versailles State Park. DIRECTIONS: Take US 50 to Versailles from Cincinnatti OH (I-275) or from PARK ENTRY: Gate fee of $5 per vehicle ($7 out-of-state) will be required as you enter, or you can purchase an annual entrance pass for $36 and enjoy any State Park all year long.
