Southwestway Park is located in the Southwest corner of Indianapolis. Within
it lies the tallest hill in the city: Mann Hill. The racecourse will take
you up and over Mann hill at least once per lap, plus offer views of the
White River below and some high speed, flat sections where you can put the
throttle down.
Hoosier Mountain Bike Association will be creating new trails this year, so
the course is not yet decided. Contribute to the trail building by working
with HMBA (www.hmba.org) this year to earn DINO Paydirt Bonus Points.
Start Times
Directions: Southwestway Park is on Indianapolis Southwest side, on Mann
Road. The Mann Road exit can only be accessed from Eastbound on I-465. (View Map)
From the East: Exit I-465 at Mann Road and turn left. Travel 2.7 miles South
on Mann Road. Southwestway Park is on the East (left) side. Overflow parking
is on the West side of Mann Road.
From the West: Exit I-465 at Kentucky Avenue. Turn SW (left) and follow
Kentucky Avenue for 0.6 miles. Turn South (left) at High School Road for 0.2
miles. Turn East (left) on Thompson Road. Follow Thompson for 1.4 miles,
which will put you at the I-465 / Mann Road interchange. Turn South (right).
Travel 2.7 miles South on Mann Road. Southwestway Park is on the East (left)
side. Overflow parking is on the West side of Mann Road.
Christian Worship Gathering: Starts at 11AM, approx. 20 minutes
