Difficulty rating: Hills: 3 / Surface: 3 (1=easy, 5=difficult)

This course is all about variety! On the trails at Avon's Washington Township Community Park, you will go from running on a wide flat pathway to a narrow, difficult hilly trail and back several times. Creative use of the land makes this trail an interesting and challenging run. The course is 5k long - 15k runners will run 3 laps. This is one of the most spectator-friendly trail run races anywhere. Spectators can view the race easily from a number of locations as the spring colors just begin to appear. Families will also appreciate the excellent playground is located adjacent to the start/finish/registration area.

Following the DINO Trail Run is a mountain bike race called the DINO Spring Tune-up , a "practice" race. The mountain bike racing starts at noon; 2PM for beginner level riders.

All races will be Eastern time. Indiana does observe daylight savings time.

• 7:30AM ~ Registration Opens
• 8:30AM ~ Registration Closes
• 9:00AM ~ 15K Start
• 9:10AM ~ 5K Starts
• 11:00AM ~ Award Ceremony

Directions: Avon is just west of Indianapolis , between Brownsburg and Plainfield . Go west on US36, 1.3 miles past SR 267. Turn left on County Road 575 E. Turn left again into the park. View Map
