2001 Marks the dawn of a new era in Indiana Mountain Bike Racing! DINO, along with four other race promoters, present the 2001 NORBA Indiana Championship Series. This five race series determines the State Championship placings!

Points leaders in all categories will be presented with Fig Newtons yellow leader's jerseys as the series progresses. Final awards will be trophies / medals and recognition as the first true NORBA Indiana Champions!

NORBA Indiana Championship Series Point System
1. There are 5 races in the series but your final points will be calculated based on your best 4 races. You can drop one race.
2. Points will be awarded by overall finish in categories.
3. If you win your category you will be awarded 100 points, 2nd = 95 points, 3rd = 90 points, 4th = 85 points. For every place after 4th, your points will go down 1 point per place. (ie: 5th = 84, 6th = 83).
4. There will be a State Champion for each age group in each category.
5. The Fig Newtons Yellow Jersey will be awarded to the rider in each category (regardless of age group) with the most points out of 4 races.
