This event is designed to be a warm-up for race season, or a low-pressure chance for new riders to decide if they are ready to race. It's a short race with no frills (no awards or series points). The 3-mile course contains a mix of wide, easy trail and narrow singletrack. There are some technical sections and a few hills. Intro riders will complete 1 lap; Beginners, Clydesdale, & Juniors 2; Sports 3, and Experts 4 laps.
There is no pre-registration for this race - it's subject to cancellation due to wet weather and will not be rescheduled. Call the DINO Hotline prior to your trip to the race site!
Entry fee is $15 at the race for Intro, Junior, Clydesdale and Beginner, and $20 for Sport and Expert. If you are not a NORBA member, add $5.
Pre-riding is available after 11AM Saturday or anytime Friday evening.
Directions: From the intersection of US 36 (West out of Indianapolis) and SR 267 (from I-74 exit 66 or I-70 exit 66) in Avon, go West on US 36 for 1.3 miles. Turn left (South) on County Road 525 E. Turn left again into the park.
