DINO PayDirt Program

DINO PayDirt Program

DINO continues "PayDirt " - an incentive program in which riders gain Bonus series points by helping build, repair, or advocate mountain bike trails in Indiana .

Work must be performed on a publicly available trail (or attendance at an appropriate DNR, park board, or similar meeting). The land manager, property owner, or trail maintenance supervisor must sign riders' time log. All work must be approved with this person PRIOR to beginning work.

The program begins September 1, 2008 and ends September 1, 2009.

Point System:

  • 2 DINO Mountain Bike Points per hour of PayDirt approved work
  • Limit of 30 Points Total
  • Bonus Points may also be earned by a top ten in category finish at the July 1 AMBC Short-Track or Freerider Challenge DH race. First place will receive 10, second 9, etc.

Example: A rider has won five races in the series (5 x 200pts = 1000) + worked 10 hours (20 pts) + finished first in AMBC Short Track (10 pts) = 1030 points. 1030 is the maximum points any rider could obtain.

The best way to make a difference and to learn about trail work is to join an organized group, such as:
