Exciting races hit the twisty-turny trails this Saturday. It all happened on a beautiful morning in Avon's Washington Township Park.

The 15k Men's race began with with a strong leadout by Drew Bryenton, followed by Scott Fihma and Russ Goodman. Fihma moved into the lead before one lap (5k) and remained there into the final lap. Meanwhile, Fihma's wife Brooke had won the women's 5k race in 21:25, ahead of Cindy Harris and Teresa Grant.

Scott Fihma could not hold his lead to nail a husband-wife dual victory, as Russ Goodman passed to win in 57:53. Goodman's feat was quite remarkable considering just one week prior he'd won the brutally difficult Knobstone Trail 50-mile run. Goodman's 15k win places him in a tie with Fihma for the series lead.

Andy Wallace and Lance Nelson finished a close 1st and 2nd in the 5k (a repeat of race 1 at Eagle Creek). James Harris took the third overall 5k spot.

The 15k Womens race saw a battle for the lead between Melissa Beaver and Katherine Mowat. Mowat was given the race win, but Beaver keeps her top standing in the series points. Kristi Lippencott claimed third in the race and now sits in second for the series.

DINO LLC has received a grant from the CIBA Foundation to present the DINO Adventure Day Camp on June 18, 2005.

DINO LLC has partnered with Bicycle Garage Indy, Horizon Camp Indy, and Adventure Athlete LLC to present the camp.

This camp is open to anyone age 8-16 who would like to get a hands-on experience with mountain biking, rock climbing & rope challenges, canoe / kayak, and/or orienteering & navigation.
