Andy Wallace continues to be undefeated in the 5k men's race in The Extreme Outfitters' DINO Trail Run Series. On June 4, Wallace claimed his third win of the year on the swoopy trails of Town Run Trail Park.

James Harris scored a second place finish and also sits second in the series behind Wallace. Wallace was the only runner to break 20 minutes (19:45) with Harris at 20:20 and Rick Goddard in third at 21:15.

The Women's 5k went to Kayla McCurdy (22:28) with Amanda Holzhausen and Allie Baumer second and third. Cindy Harris holds the series lead.

230 runners and walkers turned the busy mountain bike trail into a footpath on this hot June day. Short but steep up- and down-hills over the White River Levee created a unique challenge for many.

In the 15k, It was a replay of last year when Tito Downer topped George Dewitt in the top two spots. Jesse Cacy claimed the third podium spot. Katherine Mowat posted a large win over a sprint second and third between Theresa Mackey and Carla Yerkes. Current series leaders in the 15k are Russ Goodman and Kristy Lippencott.

This is the weekend for the adventure sports enthusiast! On the menu of events is trail running, Downhill, Short-track, and XC mountain bike racing, zip line and rappelling, and a FREE pre-race meal! In addition, non-racing opportunities include camping, fishing, rock climbing / bouldering, auto racing, and more.

The Extreme Outfitters' DINO Trail Run Series is a 5k or 15k distance run on the trails. Start time is Saturday July 2 at 9 am.

A few spots are still open for the DINO Adventure Day Camp on June 18, 2005.

This camp is open to anyone age 8-16 who would like to get a hands-on experience with mountain biking, rock climbing & rope challenges, canoe / kayak, and/or orienteering & navigation.
