HELP NEEDED ##### SPECTACULAR COURSE AWAITS RUNNERS IN NEXT DINO TRAIL RUN The July 6 North Vernon DINO Trail Run course will be one of the most challenging and scenic in the series! Just driving into the park will illustrate the beauty and challenge of this course. The 15k race will consist of two laps of approximately 4.5 miles each, with several long climbs per lap. This is a great holiday weekend spot as well, with camping available and a festival atmosphere. The DINO Mountain Bike Series will race on Sunday the 7th. Try racing, or just watch - it'll be a good race to be a spectator. Members of Indiana USA Track & Field will have a shot at special awards! The DINO Trail Run Series event #4 at North Vernon has been included in a new Championship Series for Indiana members of USATF. Members will receive special medals for good finishes and points toward the State Championship Series which consists of several races of various distances. For information on USATF's Indiana chapter, visit www.inusatf.org The location is Muscatatuck Park (note that this is a county park, not the national wildlife area visible on most state maps). Start time is 9:00 am. Registration begins at 7:00. Directions: North Vernon is halfway between Madison and Columbus IN. From the center of North Vernon (SR 7 and US 50), go south on SR 7 one mile, watch for the park entrance on the right just before crossing the river. Camping: Onsite.
