Oct 29 & Nov 12... Don't miss your final chances this year to experience The Extreme Outfitters' DINO Trail Run Series!

On October 29 visit SouthWestway Park with us for the fourth consecutive year. Weather conditions have ranged from dense fog to sunny & warm to heavy rain... be prepared for anything!

This course starts gentle and easy, then around mile 2 you'll head up Mann Hill, one of the highest hills in the county. As if once isn't enough, you'll decend then climb it again on the other side before returning to the start/finish area. 15k runners will complete 3 laps.

The SouthWestway course is located in the Southwest corner of Marion County, along Mann Road about 3 miles south of I-465. Coming from the West, you cannot exit I-465 at Mann Road; Exit at Kentucky Avenue. Turn SW (left) and follow Kentucky Avenue for 0.6 miles. Turn South (left) at High School Road for 0.2 miles. Turn East (left) on Thompson Road. Follow Thompson for 1.4 miles, which will put you at the I-465 / Mann Road interchange. Turn South (right) and travel south 2.7 miles to SouthWestway.

Mark your calendars for the series final, November 12 at SouthEastway Park. This is one of the easiest courses on the series; perfect for first time trail runners. Following the Nov 12 race, join us for a catered victory celebration - $15 buys a great lunch and gathering with fellow trail runners. We'll present the Pyro Apparel Champion Singlets at this lunch! Space is limited, but you can reserve your spot at the October 29 race or mail it to DINO, PO Box 36395, Indianapolis IN 46236. Friends and family are welcome!

Don't miss out on this experience, one of the most unique in the midwest! Registration just passed 100 for the 2006 Tecumseh Trail Marathon. A field limit of 500 may be reached by race day. To ensure your place, we recommend registering by mid-November.

Tecumseh is an incredible journey on a point-to-point, 26.2 mile, course through Morgan-Monroe and Yellowwood State Forests (primarily Brown County, Indiana). You'll travel on rugged hiking trails, pleasant fire trails, gravel roads, and just a little bit of pavement. With 3500 vertical feet of climb, it's no walk in the park, but it's a day you won't forget!
