This Saturday, Nov 12, it's all over (well, until next March)... The Extreme Outfitters' DINO Trail Run Series Final at SouthEastway Park.

This is one of the easiest courses on the series; perfect for first time trail runners.

To save a bit on your entry, you'll need to register ONLINE TODAY! You can also sign up on race morning - please arrive by 8 am.

Following the race, join us for a catered victory celebration - $15 buys a great lunch and gathering with fellow trail runners. We'll present the Pyro Apparel Champion Singlets at this lunch! A beautiful fall day greeted runners at Southwestway Park for race #6. A 5k loop, starting deceptively easy, turned uphill in the final mile for a challenging finish.

15k runners had the joy of seeing the course three times. Matt Sweetman dominated the 15k from the opening moments. Sweetman, running for the Flashes Running Club, completed each lap a minute faster than all other contenders to be the only sub-hour 15k finisher. Scott Fihma and Russ Goodman battled for second, with Fihma coming out ahead in the final lap. Goodman's third place finish allows him to hold top series position.

Katherine Mowat's 1:14 landed her top prize for women 15k, with Jamie Prochno and Kristy Lippencott in the next two women's positions.

Men's 5k was topped by Lance Nelson's sprint 18:18 finish over Adam Truex. Series leader Andy Wallace took third. The series champion will be determined solely between Wallace and Nelson at the final race.

Brooke Fihma scored a third win of the series, placing her in good standing for the 2005 title. Following her in the Southwestway race were Adrienne Watts and Teresa Grant.

Approximately half of the 500 spots for Tecumseh Trail Marathon are filled. Don't delay if you plan to run this event on December 3!
