Scott Colford's first appearance at the Tecumseh Trail Marathon proved successful, with his winning time 3:05:40. His nearest competitor, Stephen Wolcott (last year's winner), dropped from the lead pack after mid-way due to an ankle twist. Eight minutes behind Colford was Russ Goodman, followed by Howard Harrell. Harrell and Goodman have been in the top three each year since the first Tecumseh (2003).

Christine Crawford topped the women's field at 3:47:44. Eileen Dermott and Shelly Gore claimed second and third, more than 15 minutes later.

355 runners made it to the finish line in this third annual Tecumseh Trail Marathon. An incredible point-to-point journey once again drew rave reviews from runners from across the country. Many runners sought this race to check off Indiana from their 50-state marathon goal. An experience much different than the typical road race greeted these travelers. Unique touches ranged from a rustic check-in at the fireplace-heated shelter, to a bus ride to the start, to hot cocoa at an aid station, to the soup-and-sandwich post-race meal.

The 5-mile Yellowwood Lake Fun Run attracted 44 finishers for a trip around the lake. The fastest finisher was Mason Webb of Anderson, IN.
