Be ready to seize the moment - you will go from running on a wide flat pathway to a narrow, difficult hilly trail and back several times. Creative use of the land makes this trail an interesting and challenging run. The course is 5k long - 15k runners will run 3 laps. This is one of the most spectator-friendly trail run races anywhere. Spectators can view the race easily from a number of locations.
Following the DINO Trail Run is a mountain bike race called the
DINO Spring Tune-up, a practice race starting at noon.
Directions: Avon is just west of Indianapolis, between Brownsburg and Plainfield. Go west on US36, 1.3 miles past SR 267. Turn left on County Road 575 E. Turn left again into the park.
