TECUMSEH   TRAIL CHALLENGE

Description

Race Date: Saturday October 21, 2023
Course Length: 8Mile fun run
, 13.1, 26.2, 50k.
Course Difficulty: Hills 5 / Surface: 4 (1=easy, 5=difficult)

Camping: Festival-style camping at the race site (no amenities, open grassy area).  1st-come, 1st-served, cost is $3 per person per night, please pay to DINO staff at the registration area. There are 74 "primitive" developed sites 1 mile south of race start, you can register upon arrival. 

Start/Finish location: Road off Jackson Creek Trailhead parking lot

Pricing & Start Times "Full Schedule below": 

  • 50k (9;00am) - Early $90/ Increase $100/ Day of $105

  • 26.2 (9:15am) - Early $80/ Increase $90/ Day of $95

  • 13.1 (9:30) - Early $65/ Increase $75/ Day of $80

  • 8 Mile fun run (10:00am)- Early $35/Increase $40/Day of $45

DINO and Indiana Trail Running are committed to providing another excellent experience in the 21st running of this fall classic trail run race! We have been hard at work with the true to its name "Tecumseh Trail Challenge" redesigning the race around the railroad closure to provide a more nostalgic course we know runners will be excited about this year! Come run with us through the demanding, challenging, yet beautifully rewarding terrain during the autumn colors this fall as we create something special together!

50k, Marathon, & Half Marathoners receive medals "Optional purchase," awards & meal with entry. 8 miler fun run will not receive awards or medals; finish food included. The popular sweatshirts are an optional item this year (just $10). Must register by 10/9/23 for sweatshirt.

AID STATION INFO

Drop bags are for 50K & Marathon runners only! 1 per Aid station. 2 total. 50k runners will hit drop bag #2 twice at the Dam Aid.

Friday, October 20TH

  • 6-8 PM  Packet Pick-up/ Late registration at Yellowwood Group Camp

 Saturday, October 21 RACE DAY

  • 7-11 am Packet Pick-up/ Registration (at Yellowwood Group Camp)

  • 9:00 am 50k Start

  • 9:15 am 26.2 Marathon Start

  • 9:30 am 13.1 Half Marathon Start

  • 10:00 am 8 mile fun run start

  • 6:30 PM Finish cut-off (no finish times recorded after the cutoff)

AGE GROUPS (HALF, MARATHON & 50k): 
19&under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

AWARDS: 
Top three 50k, marathon, and half-marathon distance overall male and female winners receive a unique rustic award. Every age group winner will also receive a smaller, unique rustic award.

REFUNDS: If you cannot attend, you have the following options up until one week before the race: 

  • Rollover to the next year's race. 

  • Refund your entry minus 20% service charge. 

  • No refunds, transfers, or exchanges will be made within one week of the race.

  • In the event of a weather-related cancellation, the event will not be re-scheduled. 

  • To request the refund or rollover, sign in to Ultrasignup.com. From there, look for the option to "rollover" or "withdraw" from the race. You can also change distances when signed in.
