Race Date: Saturday March 30, 2024
Course Length: 15K or 5K
Course Difficulty:  Hills 4 / Surface 4 (1=easy, 5=difficult)

Price: 5K=30$/ 15k=35$/ Kids run Free/ Day of entry $5+/

Join us a this new venue to the DINO Series! The Pate Hollow Trail, adjacent to Paynetown SRA, offers lovely views and challenging terrain. The single-lap 15k will certainly provide one of the more remote and rugged feeling courses in the entire series.

Gate Fee: Standard DNR gate fee of $7/vehicle ($9 out-of-state) may be charged. If you run the series and/or visit state parks frequently, consider purchasing the Annual Entrance Permit ($50 for IN residents)

We have proudly partnered with The Runners Forum & Altra Running to bring you a bigger and better series! Additionally, Altra & The Runners Forum will be giving away 2 pairs of shoes per event. You must be present at packet pick ups to be eligible to win!

  • DATE: Thursday March 28th

  • Time: 4pm-7pm.

    • If you can not attend packet pick up we will still have the usual day of check in. You must attend packet pick up to be eligible for Altra giveways!​

Subject to minor changes. All races are Eastern time.

  • 7:30AM ~ Registration Opens

  • 8:30AM ~ Registration Closes

  • 9:00AM ~ 15K Start

  • 9:10AM ~ 5K Starts

  • 10:30AM ~ DINO Kids Run (free) 1/4-1/2 mile according to venue

  • 11:00AM ~ Award Ceremony

Race Day Rules

  • Race number must be on your front, and visible at all times. 

  • Follow the marked trail – no short cutting

  • Communicate and be courteous when passing or being passed.

  • Headphones (ipods, mp3 players, etc) or dogs are NOT permitted.

  • If you drop out of the race, please let us know at the finish line.

  • There is no time limit, but if you take longer than 2 1/4 hours you may miss awards and experience limited services.

Age Groups

Male & Female: 0-9; 10-12; 13-15; 16-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 74-79; 80+

Awards

Overall top three in each distance will receive medals. Runners beyond these top spots, who place top three in any age category, will also receive medals. Door prizes will be presented at random at the award ceremony. Random prizes are provided by DINO Sponsors.
