One of Indiana's very popular trail running destinations Eagle Creek Park. Just minutes outside of downtown Indianapolis. Join us for the well loved trails on a fast single track course taking you around beautiful scenery. You'll likely spot a wide variety of birds as you near the reservoir since Eagle Creek is a birding hotspot with it's very own bird sanctuary.
An aid station about halfway around the loop will serve water and sports drink, as well as a secondary aid station when 15k runners enter their second and third lap.

From Interstate 495:

From I-465 on Indy's Northwest side, exit at 56th Street (Northbound only!) OR from I-65, exit at Lafayette Road and travel North to 56th Street . Follow 56th Street West to the park. The park can also be accessed from I-465 or I-65 at 71st Street. The race begins & finishes at the Mt Pleasant Picnic area near the south gate. View Map

Parking in the Mount Pleasant area will fill early. All other vehicles parallel park along ONE side of the park's main roadway. Keep two tires on the pavement to help prevent getting stuck. There is also ample space near the park's beach area, about 1/2 mile away from the race site.
Race Day Rules

Race number must be on your front, and visible at all times.

Follow the marked trail – no short cutting

Communicate and be courteous when passing or being passed.

Headphones (ipods, mp3 players, etc) or dogs are NOT permitted.

If you drop out of the race, please let us know at the finish line.

There is no time limit, but if you take longer than 2 1/4 hours you may miss awards and experience limited services.
Awards
Overall top three in each distance will receive medals. Runners beyond these top spots, who place top three in any age category, will also receive medals. Door prizes will be presented at random at the award ceremony. Random prizes are provided by DINO Sponsors.
