DEATH MARCH DETAILS

Don't forget - This year's race starts and ends at Maumee Scout Reservation

Teams of two riders pedal to historic cemeteries, in and around the Hoosier National Forest. A selfie type photo verifies each cemetery checkpoint. Five checkpoints are mandatory; others earn a time bonus; deducted from elapsed ride time. The lowest net (adjusted) time wins! The top three teams in each category win trophies!

Route choices are infinite. Much of the terrain is gravel road, mixed with some pavement. There are some doubletrack and singletrack routes that are optional or could be necessary depending on the cemeteries drawn at random.

The full ride can require 50-75 miles of riding depending on the mandatory picks and the route choosen. A slightly less demanding adventure, Death March Lite division, keeps the strategy and randomness; but reduces the mandatory checkpoints to just two, and limits total checkpoints to ten. The minimum distance for  finishing Death March Lite should be less than 20 miles.

It's not too late to join this unique and fun adventure ride!
