In this Update: MISSION: 2 Months Away | What is the Death March Ride? | 2024 Dates
May 4 is the MISSION Adventure Race at Brookville Lake (Southeastern Indiana). It's a challenge of body and mind, with cycling, foot travel, and canoeing; plus plenty of navigation and decision making!
This year, the MISSION highlights include:
-21st Year for 18-hr MISSION
-Beginner-friendly MISSION Lite
-Friday evening and post-race finish meal
-Maps and boats included

What is the Death March Ride? |
Just over a week from now, Death March Ride participants will be eagerly looking for cemeteries... but why?
Two-rider teams choose their own routes to cemetery checkpoints located in and around the Hoosier National Forest. Five checkpoints are mandatory; the others give a time credit, deducted from the elapsed ride time. Two of the mandatory are chosen at random race morning; as are two "dead" cemeteries that won't count for anything. The lowest net times win, in what's perhaps Indiana's most unique bicycle race. It's a lot like an adventure race all on wheels.
Routes are a majority gravel, with some paved roads, and (depending on route choice and mandatories), some trail.

Central Indiana Adventure is the "little sibling" of the MISSION. It makes a great first "longer" race, at 12 hours; or try the beginner-friendly 4-hour CIA Lite. |
Subway Surfers includes several power-ups that completely change the pace of the game. The Jetpack lets you fly above obstacles, the Super Sneakers boost your jumping ability, and the Magnet pulls coins from all lanes.
I swear I’ve never played Acceleration City, a driving game that made my heart pound this much. The suspense of trying to outmaneuver the cops is unreal. Definitely one of my new favorite quick-action games!
Dive into PolyTrack — a high-speed low-poly racer where every turn and jump tests your reflexes, and finishing the race counts in milliseconds.
Poor Bunny is one of those deceptively simple games that really tests your skills. At first, you think it’s all about collecting carrots, but after a few seconds, the traps start flying and you realize you’re in for a real challenge. The art style is adorable, but don’t let the cute bunny fool you—this game will keep your reflexes on edge!
