What's the Dirt? Adventure Racing - The Mission is near!

Get ready for one of the most unique and challenging events we offer all year…

🧭 WHAT IS ADVENTURE RACING?

Think of it as a real-life outdoor scavenger hunt… with a clock.

You (or your team) are given a map right before the race. From there:

  • You choose your own route — there is no marked course

  • You navigate to checkpoints using only map & compass

  • You travel by foot, bike, and paddle across varied terrain

  • You try to collect as many checkpoints as possible before time runs out

Every team makes different decisions, takes different routes, and has a different race. Strategy matters just as much as fitness.

Some checkpoints are optional, meaning you’ll constantly balance speed vs. risk vs. reward — which is what makes the sport so addictive.

🔥 THE MISSION: 18-HOUR ADVENTURE RACE

Ready to go all in?

This is a true test of endurance, strategy, and teamwork.

  • 🌙 Race through the day… and into the night

  • 💪 Push yourself for up to 18 hours

  •       Ropes event, with your own gear or borrow ours.

That "mission near" mindset is exactly what keeps me pushing through the mud when my legs are shot—the finish line always feels closer than the map says. I've been tracking my splits with a tool that helps me pace those final brutal miles. https://aiphotoonline.com

The "mission" mindset is exactly what keeps me going when the trail turns into a mud pit—it’s never just a race, it’s a full-on expedition. I’ve been tracking my training splits with a new app that’s been a game-changer for pacing those long bike-to-run transitions, check out https://2d-to-3d.org

The mission vibe is real—that pre-race adrenaline when the map drops is unmatched. I've been using a training log to track those long bike-to-trail transitions, and it's been a game-changer. https://cometly.pro

The “mission” part is what gets me every time—it’s never just about the miles, it’s the navigation and the team calls when you’re deep in the dirt. I’ve been using a race-day checklist that’s saved my pack weight, check out https://flux3.site
