Total Eclipse Trail Run
Experience the total solar eclipse with a few hundred like-minded trail running friends! We'll provide you with custom eclipse viewing glasses. Then, view the eclipse at the starting line. As the sun begins to re-appear (3:10pm) we'll blow the starting horn. Starts will be chip-timed, so you can hit the trail right away, or start any time within the next 30 minutes.
Two distance options are available: 5 mile and 10 mile.
The Total Eclipse Trail Run race earns each finisher up to 10 bonus points toward the DINO Trail Run Series: The 5 mile distance goes toward 5k; 10-mile for the 15k series.
Limited to 400 entries - REGISTER today!
Registration is Open
Registration is open for the 2024 DINO Trail Run Series. By far the best value, if you plan to run more than half of the runs, is the Season Pass. Get all six race entries in one simple transaction, for one low price, and a series t-shirt included!
Bonus points race entries are not included in the Season Pass purchase.
Love the creative concept behind the Total Eclipse Trail Run-viewing a solar eclipse as the starting ceremony is unforgettable! I also used an ai image generator like luna lisa text to image to create some cool training visuals. The 5 & 10 mile options at Southwestway Park on April 8th sound amazing.
Love the unique timing of the Total Eclipse Trail Run—what a creative way to combine astronomy and trail running! I’ll be prepping my gear and making sure I’ve got everything measured just right, especially when packing snacks and hydration. For anyone who needs quick conversion charts for measurement, I’ve found that site super handy for converting weights and volumes on the go. Great job on the 2024 lineup!
