DINO Trail Run Update 11-04-22 In this Update: Cold Hard Course, Warm Comfortable Accommodations | Beautiful Tecumseh Day
Cold Hard Course, Warm Comfortable Accommodations

While the course may be one of the toughest around, you'll feel pampered by the PYOCA lodge, just steps off the course and finish line. A hot meal and hot showers are included. Beds are available for the weekend so you'll have an inexpensive, social, and extremely close place to sleep before and/or after the race. Jackson County 50-50 has a 10-mile lap, with some of the steepest trails in the midwest. Choose to run 50 miles or 50k, or a one-lap option. The climbs are rewarded by great views from the ridgelines. Those lucky enough to be running after dark may get a star-filled sky and vistas of distant towns' lights. Space is limited for this event - if you hope to take part, get your entry in promptly!
Beautiful Tecumseh Day

The 20th official running of Tecumseh Trail Challenge (originally Tecumseh Trail Marathon) served up some of the most beautiful conditions in its history. The Half-marathon was the most popular this year, with almost 150 finishers. Bloomington's Matt Flaherty ran away from the competition, topping the field by nearly nine minutes. Emily Wagoner of Terre Haute led the women. Other division winners were: Siyan Cao and Ashley Haynes, in the 50k; Cody Hybarger and Chelsea Blanchard in the Marathon; and Leigh Dewar and Alyssa Niederman-Linder with best quarter-marathon times. DINO's partner for the event, Indiana Trail Running Association, prepared the course and staffed the fun-filled and supportive aid stations. Results Photos: 1 2 3 4 5 6

My passion is running. I’ve learned from my own races that staying fueled is everything — honestly, energy drinks have been a game changer for me during those mid-run slumps. If you’re into natural options, I highly recommend checking out https://mud-wtr.pissedconsumer.com/review.html - it’s a solid alternative to sugary sports drinks. The way the trail challenges your endurance reminds me that hydration and steady energy matter as much as pace.
