What's the Dirt? Stories, features and more...

We here at team DINO have decided it's time to roll out regular blog postings called "What's the Dirt?" What's the Dirt? will be a frequent blog posting of random content with no specific scheduling but maybe rhyme and reason...maybe! We have so much to share and so do you! Many of you could assume within our direct team many of us are athletes ourselves with stories, insights and experiences to share. So you might find Joshua sharing race reviews from his own experience running grueling 100 milers and ultras, doing gear reviews, doing event promo, etc. But you probably didn't know he's a UESCA Certified Running Coach! More to come on that but quick tips and tricks may be some content featured.

Did you know Joshua's wife and essential team member Sam Johnson is also an Ultra Runner with some wonderful insights and stories? What about her full time gig as a personal trainer at 413 Fit Club? Did you know that she's a NASM Certified Sports Nutrition Coach? Sam has plenty of knowledge and storytelling to offer our off-road athletes! We aren't going to go over each team member but we will make sure you see some content from Brian Holzhausen as well. It's a no brainer he has plenty of DINO stories he can share and athletic feats himself over the years. Plus did you know he is a bike mechanic? He was also working on a book...I wonder when that's coming? Hopefully he tells the story about in a single calendar year having a broken limb from a skiing accident to his full circle come back running Jackson County Ultras 100k Distance!

Then there's YOU! Yes you! We will be featuring stories from various athletes who participate within our events as well as the amazing sponsors and behind the scenes organizations keeping these trails in shape for us to get outside! So stay tuned because this week we will be rolling out some sponsor Q & A's to help you get to know a little more about the ones coming alongside DINO and supporting these rad events! Most of them are out there on the trails with you!

HAPPY TRAILS

-Joshua Johnson

Este tipo de iniciativas inspiran mucho a seguir participando en deportes al aire libre y a conocer más sobre las personas detrás de los eventos. A veces, estas experiencias llegan como una verdadera loteria ad de historias, esfuerzo y pasión por el deporte.

I usually play browser games for a few minutes, but Drive Mad kept me engaged much longer. The balance between frustration and satisfaction feels just right.

I really resonated with your insights on storytelling in gaming! It reminds me of my journey with games like Level Devil, where the narrative adds such depth to gameplay. Sometimes it’s not just about winning but how these stories shape our experiences. Thanks for sharing this perspective!

I love the vibe of this blog! The way you explore stories really resonates with me. It reminds me of my time spent playing the Slope game—just like navigating those wild slopes, life has its ups and downs too! Keeps it exciting, right?
